Situational Awareness
Family Special for 2022: Three or more people over 12 in one family: $25 ea. Group must include at least one adult.
Classroom. Staying out of trouble isn't JUST a matter of luck. Come learn about levels of awareness and appropriate steps to take at each level. Leave understanding how to build a baseline for any of your customary environments, allowing you to better evaluate changes in those environments. Discussion includes a review of several passive, non-lethal, and even less-lethal defensive tools, but focuses on identifying opportunities to avoid violent encounters.
What will this class do for you? While we wholeheartedly support those seeking their first CCW, or renewing their CCW, that's not the whole story on keeping yourself and your family safe. A prime takeaway from CCW training is that you'll be far better off sidestepping a self-defense situation whenever possible. This class raises your awareness of how to do that. This is a good class for those who feel themselves to be at risk, but aren't comfortable with firearms.

About Us
Black Oak Training, Inc. is a firearms-safety training facility in Butte County, California. We provide training and qualification for Butte, Nevada, and Tehama County concealed-carry permits along with a number of NRA and other classes.
Our CCW classes cater to individuals who are serious about learning how to defend their own and others' lives. We don't teach you how to pass a test; we teach you how to survive attack.
Checking for max interstate reciprocity? Our CCW proof of qualification is accepted for non-resident Arizona and Florida CCW permits.
